- Adzooks is a free local forum for the community by the community. We advise only buying and selling with people you can meet. Read more on scams.
- Postings should only take a few minutes to appear on the site from the moment the ad has been activated (that is after clicking on the link of the email that was sent you).
- If your ad doesn't appear in the site within 30 minutes you can email us at support@adzooks.co.uk with the email address you provided when posting your ad.
- Ads will be in the site for 30 days .
- You can edit or delete an ad, but you cannot renew an ad. Please contact delete@adzooks.co.uk for further enquiries.
- Adzooks is not an intermediary and does not arrange any payments or transactions. For more information about online safe transactions, see escrow services .

How long does my ad stay in the site for?
For 30 days. At the moment, there is no way for you to edit or delete an ad by yourself. If deleting your ad is essential please email delete@adzooks.co.uk.
What is "report this ad to a moderator"?
Users are given the option to report an ad for moderation by an administrator. You can select either (a) "Wrong category" if it has not been categorised properly, or (b) "Not allowed" if it violates Adzooks's terms and conditions eg aggressive language or selling weapons, or (c) "Funny" if you think it is a good ad.
If an ad has been reported several times by the users it will be appropriately reviewed and/or removed by a moderator with an explanatory note sent to the poster. This will help us classify our ads correctly and will also enable the community itself to moderate Adzooks successfully.

How can I delete my ad?
To edit or delete an ad, follow the link in the activation email you received from Adzooks.
At the moment, you cannot renew an ad.
If you have lost the activation email with the link to your ad, you can request that we delete your ad by emailing delete@adzooks.co.uk
Do I make payment through Adzooks?
Adzooks is not an intermediary and does not arrange any payments or transactions. You can research how to organise safe online transactions here: escrow services .
I have been scammed, what do I do?
If you think you have been a victim of crime or scam, please let us know by emailing. abuse@adzooks.co.uk.
Despite our effort to keep the site intact from scams, some might filter through from time to time. We strongly advise buying and selling with people you can meet face to face. You can read about scams targeting buyers and examples of scams targeting sellers here .
Where can I advertise my business/services in Adzooks?
You are welcome to post an ad for your business in the "Services" category which you can either find on the home page or on the left hand side menu. Remember only small local businesses can use this service.
What kind of ads do you reject?
Items prohibited or restricted for posting on this service include but are not limited to:
- counterfeit or knock-off goods
- fireworks, explosives, and hazardous materials
- gambling items
- goods made from protected animal/plant species
- hacking/surveillance/interception/descrambling equipment
- human parts, bodily fluids and human remains
- illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, steroids, and other controlled substances
- items subject to embargo
- offensive material (items that promote hatred, violence, racism, or intolerance)
- prescription/OTC drugs and medical devices
- recalled items
- stocks, bonds, securities
- stolen property or items used for theft
- weapons and ammunition
- the sale of alcohol to persons not of lawful age
- the sale of tobacco products to persons not of lawful age
Adzooks prohibits the listing of any adult-oriented products or services, or listings which solicit directly or indirectly sexually oriented services, or sexually explicit content.
