The Jenny Chant Appeal
Hi my name is Jenny Chant and in 2004, I suffered from breast cancer. Having survived, a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radium therapy I am still here... I wanted to give something back for all the love and caring I was shown...
I am not skilled and I don't have a cure but I can knit and that is why I have decided to try and knit the world's longest 'PINK' scarf in aid of Cancer Research with your help of course!!
Cancer is not defined by geography. We need to pull together as a human race so your help no matter where you are, not matter who you are... if you have been affected and want to show the world you care please join me and help with this appeal. The more the merrier, as they say!
The current world record is... well there is no record for a pink scarf but the longest scarf record (UK) that I can find is: 33.74 miles (all different colours!). But I am sure that we can beat that record if we work together.
For more information about this appeal, for a pattern or to get involved please visit the website: XXXXXXXXXXX
I look forward to beating this world record and helping Cancer Research save lives... with your help.
Love,
Jenny Chant
